A Letter from Brian & Massiel
Hello! We are a happily married Catholic couple from California ready to become first-time parents through adoption! We will be supportive, positive, and loving parents for your child and will ensure he or she will grow to experience the love of God and family. We enjoy the outdoors, prayer, playing games, and traveling to learn more about different cultures, traditions, and ways of life. We are so delighted that you found our profile and look forward to getting to know you and your hopes for your child’s future.
We have been happily married for ten wonderful years. When we first met, we felt an instant connection that was sparked by our love and faith in God. Every date included praying the rosary together and, if it was a Sunday, attending Mass as well. Christ has been a central part of our lives and the core of our marriage. We are dedicated to serving the Church in different ways, from working in Catholic education to volunteering at our parish.
We value spending time with family and friends, whether it is to gather at home for a meal or to go out for an adventure. We cherish the opportunities to travel to different parts of the world to explore new cultures, foods, and beautiful scenery. There is nothing like the experience of learning about the lifestyles of other people and the beauty and history of the world around us and we are excited to share that passion with your child.
Massielis a kind, smart, thoughtful, devoted, faithful, and beautiful woman of God. She is supportive and encouraging and is always looking to help others who are in need. She likes to help at the church and dedicates time to prayer and reading the Bible. She enjoys life and likes to have fun through traveling to new locations and hosting dinner parties for family and friends.
She has taught over ten years in preschool and has shown a passion for teaching young children. She believes young people should learn through fun activities, such as painting, cooking, dancing, and singing. She also believes in encouraging creativity and using one’s imagination through role-playing and playing games. She looks forward to reading stories with your child and helping him/her develop a love for reading. She will be truly an amazing mother who will unconditionally love and care for our son or daughter.
Since the moment I got to know Brian, I fell in love with him for the faith he has in God and Blessed Mary, love for family, and a good sense of humor. He is very smart and clever and likes to figure out things on his own. He is a principal at a local Catholic high school and enjoys working in the field of Catholic education. He enjoys spending time with my nieces playing hide-and-seek, tag, and other fun games. He loves grilling on his BBQ and rooting for his favorite teams. Brian enjoys good meals and cooking for me and our family and friends. He looks forward to teaching our child how to pray, play sports, and enjoy the simple things in life. He is a wonderful and supportive husband and will be a dedicated, supportive, and loving father to your child.
Family is very important to us! Massiel has two sisters that live in the same county, one of whom is married and has two adorable nieces (ages 8 & 6). There are also a number of relatives that live very close. Brian’s family is also in California (but they are a little further away) and usually spend time with them a few times during the year. Our family has been extremely happy and supportive of our desire to adopt. Your child will be welcomed with open arms into our extended family and they are all so excited to include them in our family gatherings!
We live in a cozy three-bedroom home with a backyard patio and garden. We love to spend time outside and enjoy our outdoor patio for dining and relaxing. We also have a prayer room that is dedicated to God where we spend time daily. We have converted our guest room into a nursery complete with comfortable furnishings, toys, and stuffed animals for our son or daughter. We look forward to decorating it with their interests as they grow.
Our quaint town is family-friendly, has many parks and activities for children, and is a safe place for your child to make friends and go to school.
We are wholeheartedly committed to raising your child in a loving and nurturing environment. Our emphasis will be on growing in faith, education, moral values, connecting with extended family, and creating lasting memories filled with fun family adventures. We will raise him/her to be a loving individual who knows right from wrong. We are open to sending you updates regularly through letters and photos. We are also open to scheduling visits for you as well!
