A Letter from Scott & Elizabeth

Greetings from Idaho! We feel truly blessed to become first-time parents through adoption. Being outdoors and spending time with friends and family are some of our favorite things to do! We are excited to open our home, teach our faith, and share our love with your child. We want to share our knowledge and put emphasis on the value of education. We want to create shared memories together and new family traditions. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us!

Our Story

We first met when Elizabeth (Goes by Liz) was starting college. While she was trying to decide what career path she wanted to pursue, Scott was busy buying an old house. Working together we remodel a house into a home. Together we created the foundation for our future. Nine years later, a college graduation, and a beautifully remodeled home, we make a great team with financial stability! We are excited to grow our family through the joy of Adoption.

Together we like making delicious food and eating outside on the patio. Summertime isn’t complete until we finish our evenings with fresh air and bright stars overhead! Our home gives us a sense of pride after all of our hard work!  In the summer we enjoy camping and kayaking. You will definitely find us on the golf course!  Our outdoor activities continue on for us all year. Christmas tree chopping and adding Christmas lights to our display outside are always something we look forward to. For Thanksgiving, we enjoy making some yummy homemade noodles! Cold weather always gives us the opportunity to stay home and work on inside improvement projects.  This is a good time to learn and be creative with one another. We look forward to teaching your child all that we know and are excited to share our passion for nature and creativity with them!

Meet Elizabeth (by Scott)

Liz has a loving and nurturing heart. She is always looking out for others and always puts them first. She loves taking care of people and helping out in any way she can. She is also a very driven and determined individual. All of these aspects lead to her being successful in her career at our local hospital. People look up to her and know if they need anything, that she can accomplish any task no matter how big. She has the biggest heart for others and enjoys reading a good book, going camping, and kayaking. Liz will be a present and active mother, an example setter, and a teacher of Faith!

Meet Scott (by Elizabeth)

Scott is the organized and resourceful person in our home. He is always willing to go above and beyond to help others. His laid-back personality and his love for anything outdoor complete who he is.  I admire his positive attitude, his constant smile, and his ability to do anything he wants by working hard and staying dedicated. You can usually find him climbing a mountain, taking his Jeep out for an adventure, or enjoying the company of his brothers. Kayaking, camping, and snowboarding are also among his favorite outdoor activities. With his natural leadership, I know he will set the perfect example as he navigates fatherhood and teaches your child his knowledge!

Our Family

We are blessed to live in the same town as both of our extended families. Sitting down to family dinners and attending church on Sunday morning is time well spent! Having great relationships with our siblings and parents lets us be fully immersed in love and support; we look forward to sharing this experience. We are excited to raise our family surrounded by Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, and Cousins.  Our parents are especially excited to become first-time Grandparents!

Our Home in Idaho

We both grew up loving our hometown! It’s exciting to raise our family here! Our house is in a downtown area, close to many parks and restaurants. Inside, we have made our four-bedroom house into the perfect home. We are close to several local private schools and just a few minutes’ walk from our church. This area is also a gathering location for several community activities throughout the year. We have the mountains to our south and a beautiful canyon/river to our north; Many opportunities for the outdoor lifestyle we enjoy and endless fun! We have a modest, happy home! We share our home with two wonderful dogs who are great with kids!

Our Promise

We promise to always respect you and love your child unconditionally. We promise to always provide a safe stable environment worthy of promoting growth, love, and faith. We look forward to the opportunity to teach your child about God, nature, and to be the best parents we can be. We promise to always provide guidance and support to your child’s dreams and goals. We promise that your child will know their adoption story and grow up knowing they are loved and cherished.

More About Our Family
Passing on Traditions

We love spending time together, especially with our family. We look forward to sharing family traditions! Every year, days before Thanksgiving, Elizabeth's family gathers to enjoy an evening of crafting homemade noodles that are a "Family Secret Recipe"! It's a time filled with fun and laughter that has been passed from Grandparents to Grandchildren!

After Thanksgiving noodles have been enjoyed, we wake up early the next day to find the perfect Christmas tree! This is a special tradition for the two of us that we hope to share with your child! We hope to create NEW traditions as a family.
