A Letter from Zachary & Caitlin
Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us a little bit! We know that God has led us to this path as we are unable to have children. We are so excited to grow our family through adoption and become first-time parents.
We enjoy going on walks, spending time with family, engaging in sports, going on trips, and learning about the world around us together. We are excited to welcome your child into our lives and share with them our passion for the world. We look forward to beginning this journey with you and would love to speak with you.
About Us
The two of us grew up in the suburbs of Missouri and met in 2011. We became fast friends and were married in September of 2014. We love exploring and learning about the history of our local towns as well as the world around us. In the eight years we have been together, we’ve learned the importance of growing as a person and loving others with all you have.
In the summer you can find us outside with friends, attending a Cardinals baseball game, visiting with family, and barbecuing on the deck. We enjoy going to our local Zoo as well as the new aquarium to view all the water creatures. We look forward to including your child into our family fun and showing them all of the fun that Missouri has!

Zachary is a laid back, selfless, easy-going Family man with a creative mind. You will often find him outside in the warmer months grilling, golfing, playing with our puppy or meeting new people in the neighborhood. Zachary is very intelligent and knowledgeable of many different topics, from history, science, math and more. When he’s not helping others through his job supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, he enjoys helping family and friends.
Zachary will be such a wonderful father. He is excited to share the world with our child, teach them how to play sports, and support them through all that they do.
About Caitlin as written by Zachary
The moment I met Caitlin I was struck by her caring, loving soul. Caitlin has a passion for animals of all kinds- especially cats! When it comes to Caitlin you can always find her attempting to craft something new. Be it making wreaths, flower arrangements or decorating our walls with new family pictures. She loves to try new recipes while cooking and always enjoys organizing the house. Caitlin is compassionate, supportive, an amazing listener and has a desire to support others. I know she will be an amazing mother and that she is looking forward to sharing her love of crafts with our child.
Our Wonderful Home in Missouri
We built our ranch style home in 2018 and we love it. We have some lovely woodlands behind us and a few lakes just down from us that can be used for fishing and boating. In the spring, summer, and fall we enjoy the weather by grilling and spending time with family and friends on the deck that Zachary built. We are excited to grow our home and decorate your child’s nursery!
In addition to the two of us, we have two kittens Magnolia (Maggie) and Chloe, as well as a Golden Retriever puppy named Remington. All three have their unique personalities and love children.
Our Family
We love spending time with each of our parents and even get to enjoy time with Caitlin’s grandmother who just turned 94! Both sets of parents are very active in our family’s lives and we love it!
Caitlin has two brothers, one of whom lives in the states with his 2 daughters and one who lives in Holland. We love to visit Holland and are excited to share this experience with our child. Zachary has an older sister who lives about an hour away with her two sons. We love spending time with our nieces and nephews whenever able! Our families are so excited for our adoption and look forward to including your child in our traditions. Both of our families love to get together for the holidays- Thanksgiving tends to be one of our bigger celebrations when we get to see family from around the world!
Our Promise
We promise to love and cherish your child always. We will give them all that we have, support them, cheer for them in all that they do, and help to guide them as they grow to be their best self. They will be loved, cared for and given any and all opportunities to be themself. We also promise to be true to our word. We promise to be open to your wants for communication. | Our Special Interests | Caitlin loves animals. Whether this means going to the Zoo or spending time in the backyard her love for animals is easy to be seen. In addition to animals, she is creative and she likes to craft in her studio room. She uses vinyl, ink and other forms of media to create unique decorations and gifts. Caitlin enjoys the outdoors as well as the company of friends and family. Zachary enjoys working with wood. Either building custom furniture or setting the framework for new additions this is what comes naturally for him. In addition to this, Zachary loves to spend time with family and friends enjoying each other's company or relaxing and entertaining with a barbecue. | |
