A Letter from Earnest & Deanna
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us a little. We hope that you will consider us when looking for a forever home for your child or children. We are a happily married, fun-loving, family oriented, and multicultural couple. We have a large family who are excited about a potential addition(s) to our family! We look forward to getting to know you and look forward to keeping whatever level of contact is comfortable for you. Even though we have not met you, we are already praying for you and your family.
We met at college; it didn’t take long before we knew we had something special. Fast forward to today, we have been together for over 11 years and have been married for 6. All of which has been filled with traveling, festivals, laughter and home cooked meals. Our challenges with infertility have strengthened our relationship and, although we have struggled with infertility, adoption has always been part of our plan as both of us come from families with adoptions.
Deanna is more than an artist or a fantastic ethnic cook, she is my wife and above all, my best friend. She loves to cook healthy meals, paint, sculpt, read and take our dogs for walks. She has a heart of gold and is willing to always walk the extra mile for others. As a Biological Safety Officer, she spends her time keeping people safe and that is something she takes with her outside of work. She loves hosting events and never shy’s from learning new things, she recently taught herself how to knit! She shines brightest when doing anything involving children and can’t wait to share with your little one some of her favorite recipes. Any child we raise will be blessed to have her as a mother.
Earnest, as far as I am concerned, is a super hero! My husband is the most amazing, caring, and patient man I have ever met. His caring nature is one of the reasons I knew he was meant to be my life partner. He works as a mental health partner at a children’s hospital, a case worker, and a music teacher. Earnest likes anything to do with music and is a world class musician who taught himself to play piano and the guitar! He also loves to make jokes, garden and play video games. He is an amazing cook and every holiday he is required, by the family, to make his famous chicken or fish dish! He truly enjoys spending time with our families, especially all of our nieces and nephews. Anytime children are around, you will find him either holding an infant, playing basketball, jumping on a trampoline or playing tag with them! He will be a wonderful father.
We live in four bedroom home with a fully fenced in yard that is great for hosting events with family and friends alike! There are so many things we love about our home and area; but the main thing we love is how friendly and family orientated our neighborhood is.
In our home, we have two wonderful dogs. Foxxy, the Pomeranian, and Queen, the German Shepherd. Both of our dogs really love children and can often be found playing with our nieces, nephews and godchildren in our backyard.
We have four ecstatic grandparents and five eager aunts and uncles waiting to welcome your little one into our family with love. We have 10 nieces & nephews, 2 grand nephews, 1 grandniece and another one on the way that are all excited to welcome another member (or two!) to join in all the family gatherings, Easter egg hunts, super bowl parties and family reunions!
We promise to love your child or children unconditionally, protect, provide them with a nurturing environment, and to teach them about God, who loves them too, more than anything. We promise to provide the best education and to encourage any talents that they show interest in. We promise to provide a home they can call their own. One that is a safe place where he or she can feel happy, loved and supported. We also promise to teach your child(ren) their story and our thankfulness for you. Our hearts and home will always be open to you, should you desire so.

Interesting things about Deanna:
Interesting things about Earnest:
Our Faith and Church
We are Christians. Deanna grew up Non denominational and Earnest grew up Baptist. Both of us were taught at a very young age that it is not enough to love and protect your own children that there is a greater calling to our lives. We believe our heavenly father gives us a capacity to love and has commanded us to do so. We treat everyone how we want to be treated. We have a wonderful church home that is welcoming to all Christians. Our child(ren) will be surrounded by so much love, fun and culture. With families that rich histories and strong convictions.
About Our House
We purchased our home 2 and 1/2 years ago. Our house is already baby proofed as many of our friends and family have children; we wanted them to feel safe here as well. Our yard is large enough for a swing set and sandbox. We have a deck with a hot tub that has is covered with a lock on it. There are several state parks and game compounds near by. Additionally there are excellent schools near by including a private school less than 4 miles to our home. When we purchased our home we did so with our future children in mind.
Why we want to Adopt
We have always wanted have a family with two to four children. We also said we were going to adopt children. We both have seen first hand the benefits of adoption. During our first year of marriage we got pregnant but there were complications and we lost our son in the second trimester. The loss of our son did not discourage us. Instead it brought us closer to God, to each other and our families. We never gave up on our dream to be parents. We began the process of adoption because we trust that whatever God has in store for us is the right path; especially because we believe adopting a child(ren) has always been a calling to us. Your child will have the best of everything. All the love and support not just from us but from our family and friends.
We were both born and raised in...

What her parents taught her and her siblings is that there is no excuse if you want something work as hard as you can to obtain it. Her mother's schedule is flexible and her parents are only an hour and a half away. She also has several cousins who live in less than 15 minutes away who are stay at home moms! Earnest's favorite thing about Deanna's family is the way they love each other and us. Her parents are our biggest cheerleaders, consistently telling us how proud they are of us.
