Hello from Texas, where our state motto is “friendship”! Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us better–we’d love to get to know you better, as well!
We feel called to be parents and are excited to begin growing our family through adoption. We look forward to raising a child in our fun & faith-filled home. We are open to sharing pictures, updates, and visiting with you if you’d like.
About Us
We met at church over 12 years ago and have been married for over 6 years now. We are opposites in many ways, but we balance each other and make a great team! We love being together and enjoy watching movies, attending family events, being involved in our nieces and nephews’ lives, going on road trips and mission trips, and eating good food. Recently, we’ve also been working together on starting up a side business over health and fitness.
We try to keep Christ at the center of our marriage, and we will provide your child with a loving, stable, and joy-filled home for them to grow up in. Together, we look forward to spending lots of quality time with our little one and helping them reach new milestones, like learning to walk and learning to read!
About Jared
Jared is a fun-loving and spontaneous guy who loves a good adrenaline rush. He works hard and plays hard, too! He enjoys motocross, snowboarding, exercising, target shooting, road trips, and making me feel special. Working in physical therapy allows Jared to help others and increase their quality of life. He also has good business sense and is great at making decisions. I always appreciate how he helps around the house, thinks about other people’s perspectives, and has fun playing with our nieces, nephews, and cousins. He looks forward to teaching our child to ride a bicycle and coaching them in sports and other activities! He will be a great dad!
About Anna
Anna is quiet, content, and reserved in demeanor and loves having meaningful conversations with those she is close with. She has a caring heart, is detail-oriented, and loves spending time with children. She is currently an elementary school teacher by trade but looks forward to becoming a stay-at-home mom after we adopt. Anna also enjoys cooking and baking, gymnastics, arts and crafts, and reading. She looks forward to helping our child learn how to cook yummy, delicious food and do some fun arts and crafts. I know she’ll be a devoted, nurturing mom.
Our Home in Texas
We own a simple and cute 3-bedroom home that we remodeled on our own (with a lot of help from Google and our fathers)! The front and back yards are great for running and playing. Our house is always open for celebrations, get-togethers, and house guests! We have converted one of the bedrooms into a nursery–stocked with furniture, diapers, and books; just waiting on a little one now to make it complete!
We are located less than a mile from our community park and only a few minutes from both of our parents. Just a bit further is the Texas coast with several beaches–perfect for swimming in the summer or campfires in the winter.
Our Family
Anna is the middle of three children, and Jared is the second of five children in his family, so it is safe to say we have a big family (with 8 nieces and nephews now)! We love living close to both of our parents and several of our siblings. Holidays are family-filled, and we enjoy having weekly family dinners, days at the motocross track together, and Saturday mornings at the ballpark! We also love to take road trips to visit our nieces and nephews!
Our families are thrilled about our adoption and have so much love to share with our child!

We can’t wait to take them hiking, show them how to snowboard, and watch them grow up close to their cousins and family. | Our Faith | Both of us were raised in church, and we attend a Bible-believing, mission-minded, nondenominational church weekly (normally two times a week) together. We believe the focus is more on the relationship than the religion itself. However, we also see the value in developing personal discipline in our daily walk. | Traditions | Thanksgiving - Before eating, we all gather around the large dining room table, and everyone shares what they've been thankful for that year. Christmas - Before opening gifts, we gather in the living room and take turns reading the Christmas story from the Bible. Anna's mom also always makes a yummy homemade cheesecake for Christmas day! Summer - Anna has extended family in Missouri and has enjoyed going to visit every summer since she was young! Common activities for the visit include enjoying the nearby lake, exploring the backyard woods, taking a short trip to an Amish town, and going to Branson to watch a show! | |
| Fun Facts | 1. Jared was homeschooled for most of his education before college, and we are considering homeschooling for at least part of our children's education, as well. 2. Anna was valedictorian of her graduating high school class and went on to graduate with honors from a top-ranked state university. 3. Jared began riding motocross competitively in his late teens with his dad as his coach. He and his dad still enjoy watching, riding, and racing motocross together to this day. 4. Anna began cooking from a very young age. The first thing she remembers cooking is pancakes - when she had a friend over for the night, they would wake early the next morning to make pancakes for the whole family! 5. Jared was in an alternative rock band in his teens. He played the bass guitar, and has since used his talent to play at different churches, as well. 6. Anna never competed in gymnastics (like she did in other sports), but enjoyed taking classes off and on all the way up through college. She still enjoys practicing her flips on a trampoline! | |
