A Letter from Tim & Stacy
We are an easy-going, Christian family who values quality time spent together and has a love for the outdoors. We always wanted children, but after years of infertility, knew adoption was a special way for children to enter into our family. Our son, Alex, was adopted from birth in 2013. We treasure the miracle and blessing he is!
We look forward to sharing the stability of our marriage and home life, financial security, educational opportunities, protection and love with another child. The open adoption we have with Alex’s birth mother is a relationship we gladly welcome again.
We married 6 months from first meeting each other and 10 years later, we still laugh and joke every day. We love being parents! Tim works as an electrician and is an all-around talented guy to have around. Stacy has a culinary degree, which always comes in handy, but truly enjoys being a stay-at-home mom, while working part-time managing storage units.
We both grew up on family farms. The funny thing about leaving the farm is realizing the gift of growing up caring for animals, planting and weeding crops, praying for rain, learning to work hard and now being able to visit our parent’s properties as a family and to share and do that together! Life is good.
I have learned from Tim the value of treating people how you want to be treated. If you go anywhere with him, he sincerely asks people how they are doing or how the day is going for them. Tim is patient, has a great attitude and outlook on life, and has a love for history and taking time away, as a family, to travel the sites of our great country each year. Tim is helping transform our landscape and his family farm with fruit and nut orchards and we love working alongside him on this adventure.
When Tim gets home from work each evening, not a moment is lost before he starts playing with Alex and he is excited to come home to another child to join in on the fun. He is a committed husband and father.
Stacy keeps our household together and she is excited to welcome another child or sibling set into our family. The same love and happiness she shares with all of us as a wife and mother, she wants to share with your child. She makes yummy meals and lets Alex help her in the garden and cook with her. He’s the best stirrer. She always has time to play games and do movie nights as a family, making pizza and buttery popcorn.
Sunday mornings, before Church, she makes a special breakfast for us, taking requests the day before. Stacy has a love for making things homemade like peppermint/lavender soap, whipped body butter, chapstick and old fashioned canning of tomato sauce, salsa and fruit preserves.
Our days are filled with food, fun, reading, games, music, and dancing, and we look forward to sharing this with another child. Alex sweetly prays for siblings and being able to experience that special bond. We value both of our parents and see them weekly, as they live within 45 minutes of us. We have many meals and holidays together, making lasting memories! We regularly visit and host our siblings and their terrific children.
Stacy’s mom placed a newborn girl up for adoption after an unplanned pregnancy whom we now have a close relationship with and whose family of 5, is happily part of our family! Stacy’s brother married a wonderful woman, who was adopted from South Korea, as a baby, and they have two beautiful children together. Tim’s brother and his wife adopted a baby boy as first-time parents in 2016. We welcome and celebrate adoption on both sides of our family.
We enjoy the benefits of having neighbors, all in a wooded, country setting with a big yard to play in. The church we attend, as well as the library, local parks, pool, and great schools are only a few miles away. Our newly renovated home has three bedrooms, a furnished nursery, and a big kitchen with lots of space for family time.
You will be treated with gratitude as we express how cherished your child is in our life, while answering questions and curiosities they have with loving reassurance and sensitivity. We are able to provide a financially secure life and a future filled with guidance and hope for your child. We are committed to be there in a way that you need and build a relationship you are comfortable with, now, and into the years ahead.

More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
We are partners in Tim's parent's organic farm with the intention of preserving it for future generations. We keep the farm records and bookkeeping for organic inspection certification.
We plan a trip with each side of our family, almost every year, finding new and fun camping and cabin locations for all the cousins to stay and play together. It's a great time to see our siblings and for the grandparents to be able to see all the grandkids together. It's been a memorable tradition.
We love doing all the holiday traditions too, especially revolving around the 4 seasons we experience in Wisconsin. We have a big seafood bake for New Years, dye eggs and an egg hunt every Easter, observe Memorial Day by decorating the graves of loved ones, picking strawberries and blueberries at local farms in summer, carve pumpkins for Halloween, visit apple orchards for cider and doughnuts in the fall, bake and putting together gingerbread houses for Christmas and make a special ornament for the tree.
We have worked well together on home improvement and renovation projects from whole room demolition to tile and drywall installation. It's nice to have everything updated, making a house our home.
With the future in mind, we are actively saving to support our children's college and higher education endeavors.
We both share a common belief in the promises and teachings of Jesus. The hope we have in Jesus is the foundation of our marriage and the life we try and live out together and as an example to our children. We are humbled that He calls us friend, precious, unconditionally loved, and redeemed. We enjoy reading from children's story bibles and have great discussions about life lessons learned in Psalms and Proverbs. We encourage Alex that we have a constant companion and helper in Jesus.
Our family has adopted the custom of singing "Johnny Appleseed" before meals and praying the "Our Father" before bedtime. Since we met, we regularly attend a local Church where we have fostered many relationships over the years through Sunday mornings, bible studies, and opportunities to serve.
Our Musical Interest
Tim - Country and Rock n Roll
Stacy - I love all music and have it playing in the background on Pandora a majority of the day. Alex requests specific kids music which often leads to singing and dancing together!
We look forward to Alex taking lessons on the piano Stacy grew up playing on and that opening up to future musical interests for him. We can't wait to share this with another child.
About Our Home
We enjoy the warmth of a real, wood burning fireplace in the winter, on the main level, adjoining the kitchen and living space. A lot of art projects and puzzles happen at the dining room table. In the summer we are often in the spacious lower level where it's naturally cooler during the hot months, playing games, watching movies or building forts. Behind the house, off the kitchen, we have a patio with dining space, grill, and fire pit. We share many meals together and relax with the sounds of nature around us. Surrounding the patio is the enclosed trampoline, sandbox, and swing set where we enjoy hours of fun play.
Alex has a great appetite for life and activity! His recent experience with school has confirmed a kindness he has for those around him. He always invites other kids to come and play together with him and waves "hi" to anyone we cross paths with, making their day a little brighter, as well as ours. We take advantage of the programs provided by our local library system from musical performances, interactive animal and insect exhibits, arts and crafts, and participating in reading programs. New books are rotated every week since he was born and we have as much fun learning and exploring as he does. He always has a new joke to tell or a new dance move to show us. We laugh a lot and never hesitate to say "I Love You"!
We live in the state of...
There are multiple families with children in our neighborhood that we enjoy spending time with, and the kids get to play together. It's nice living in this community while also having peacefulness and privacy at our homes. Everyone waves as they pass by when we are playing games in the yard or the gardens. We catch up with each other when our neighbors let their dogs out, or we are on a walk or bike ride. It's not uncommon to get an invitation to a party every year from different neighbors hosting events. It's a great place to raise a family.
